Harissa-traditional Armenian dish



Harisa-porridge made of wheat and chicken





























The dish has been passed on since ancient times. Harissa is traditionally served on Easter day. 

Ingredients:
For harissa we need: 125 g chicken, 70 g. of wheat, 50g. butter, salt and pepper to taste



How to cook:
Boil a chicken.  Pour the soaked wheat in boiling chicken broth, add cracked chicken and continue to boil. You can use beef or lamb instead of chicken.

When the porridge becomes thicker, add some salt and stir. Serve the porridge with clarified butter.
